1. About Family Camping Club
Family Camping Club operates https://familycampingclub.co.uk/, a membership website that helps members discover campsites and access discounts offered by participating campsites.
In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Family Camping Club. “You” refers to anyone who visits or uses our website, including members and campsite owners.

By using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Membership
Membership of Family Camping Club is free.
When registering, you must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out through your account.
You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Share or misuse membership benefits in a way that breaches an offer's conditions.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or another person's account.
- Use the website for unlawful purposes, spam or fraudulent activity.
- Interfere with the website's operation or security.
We may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached, or where necessary to protect members, campsites or the website.
You may request deletion of your account through the available account facilities or by contacting us.
3. Campsite discounts and offers
Discounts, promotional codes and special offers displayed on Family Camping Club are provided by participating campsites.
Each campsite is responsible for setting the terms of its offers, including:
- The discount amount or benefit.
- Eligible accommodation, pitches or services.
- Valid dates, seasonal restrictions and availability.
- Minimum stays, booking conditions and exclusions.
- How and when a discount code must be used.
You should check the offer details and confirm any relevant conditions directly with the campsite before booking.
We make reasonable efforts to present accurate information but cannot guarantee that every offer is available, current or suitable for your circumstances. Campsites may change or withdraw offers, subject to any commitments they have already made to customers.
If a campsite refuses to honour an advertised discount, please contact us with details so we can investigate with the campsite.
4. Bookings and payments
Family Camping Club helps members discover campsites and contact them about bookings. We do not operate campsites, take payment for campsite bookings or charge booking fees.
Where you submit a booking enquiry or use a campsite's online booking form through our website:
- Your booking request is made directly with the campsite.
- The campsite is responsible for confirming availability and the booking.
- Any deposit, balance or other payment is made to the campsite or its chosen payment provider.
- Any booking contract is between you and the campsite.
- The campsite is responsible for its booking conditions, cancellations, refunds, facilities and delivery of the services booked.
You should read the campsite's own booking terms before committing to a booking.
Family Camping Club is not responsible for a campsite's failure to provide a service, changes to a booking, cancellations, disputes over payments or the quality and safety of campsite facilities, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
We may help pass on information about a problem, but we do not guarantee that a dispute will be resolved.
Member ratings
See member star ratings for a plain-English guide. After a confirmed stay booked as a member, the campsite may rate your stay for up to 30 days after departure. Every member starts on 5 stars, and campsite ratings keep it there or bring it down. Campsites see your member rating when you ask to book and may take it into account when deciding whether to accept a booking.
Campsites must rate honestly and only on the stay itself. Ratings must not be abusive, discriminatory or about anything other than the stay. You can reply to any rating, and you can ask us to review a rating you think is unfair. We may hide any rating that breaks these rules, and a hidden rating no longer counts towards your member rating.
To prevent tit-for-tat, for 14 days after a stay the campsite’s rating of you and your review of the campsite are kept private until both have been given, then published together. A published rating cannot be changed. Reviews of campsites must also be honest and about the stay itself; we may hide a review that breaks these rules, including one posted in retaliation for a rating. Ratings from a campsite that rates almost every guest low do not count towards members’ scores.
5. Campsite listings
Campsite listings on Family Camping Club are free unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Campsite owners and representatives who submit listings agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.
- Ensure prices, facilities, availability and discount details are not misleading.
- Honour advertised discounts in accordance with the offer's stated conditions.
- Have permission to upload and use all submitted photographs, logos, descriptions and other content.
- Notify us of significant changes to their listing or offers.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations relating to their business and services.
Campsite owners remain responsible for their businesses, facilities, customer service, insurance, legal compliance and the accuracy of their listings.
We may review, refuse, hide, amend or remove a listing if information appears inaccurate, an offer is no longer valid, a campsite fails to honour its advertised discount, a complaint warrants investigation or the listing otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.
Listing a campsite does not mean that Family Camping Club endorses or guarantees that campsite.
6. Reviews and user-submitted content
Reviews should be honest, fair and based on a genuine experience of the campsite being reviewed.
You must not submit content that is:
- False, fabricated or deliberately misleading.
- Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or defamatory.
- In breach of another person's privacy.
- Illegal or infringing another person's intellectual property rights.
- Advertising, spam or unrelated to the purpose of the website.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights and permissions needed to publish it.
Where reviews are displayed publicly, your first name and review may appear on the relevant campsite page.
We may moderate, refuse or remove reviews or other content that breaches these Terms & Conditions or that we reasonably consider inappropriate. We are not obliged to publish every submission.
Submitting a review does not guarantee that it will be published or remain on the website.
7. Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Family Camping Club website, its branding, design, original text and other original materials are owned by us or used with permission.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit our content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Campsite owners retain responsibility for the content they submit. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and grant Family Camping Club permission to display, reproduce and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and maintain the website and its listings.
You must not upload content that infringes copyright, trade marks, privacy rights or other legal rights.
8. Website availability and changes
We aim to keep Family Camping Club available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free from errors.
We may update, suspend, remove or discontinue website features, listings or services where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, operational reasons or changes to our business.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption where practicable.
9. Liability and disclaimers
Family Camping Club provides a platform for discovering campsites and accessing offers. We do not own or operate the listed campsites and do not control their facilities, staff, services, booking decisions or business practices.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from:
- Inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by third parties.
- A campsite changing or withdrawing an offer.
- A campsite refusing a booking or failing to honour its own obligations.
- Cancellations, disputes, payments or refunds relating to bookings made with campsites.
- The acts or omissions of campsite owners or other third parties.
- Temporary website interruptions, technical problems or events beyond our reasonable control.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights or our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not permit such a limitation.
Subject to those restrictions, where you use the website as a consumer, we are responsible only to the extent required by applicable law.
10. Privacy and personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information.
When you submit a booking enquiry, relevant information is sent to the campsite so it can respond to your request. The campsite may handle that information under its own privacy policy.
Please review the relevant privacy information before submitting personal details.
11. External websites
Our website may link to third-party websites, including campsite websites, booking platforms and service providers.
We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Visiting an external website is at your own discretion, and you should review its terms before using its services.
12. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
If you do not agree to a revised version, you should stop using the website.

14. Governing law
